In Dehong, Yunnan, traditional weaving brings together expressive colors, distinctive textures, and generations of practiced skill.
Old Fabrics, New Stories.
Dai Liezhibu is a traditional reweaving practice from Dehong, Yunnan, in which strips of reclaimed fabric are woven by hand into richly textured cloth. Once-used textiles take on new color and character through the process.

Jingpo brocade carries a textile tradition of its own, with intricate woven patterns and cultural character.

We believe traditional craftsmanship belongs in the everyday lives of people today. Working with local artisans and independent weaving workshops, SAVONARI brings distinctive handcrafted pieces to independent boutiques beyond their place of origin.
Our hope is to create more opportunities for these traditions to be discovered, appreciated, and carried into new stories.
